The Arhat is the "Perfected One" who has overcome the impurities of desire, ill will & ignorance. An enlightened individual who has reached nirvana (a state free from suffering) and will never be reborn. The Arhat attains the goal of Nirvana by strictly following the 3 ways of practice Good Conduct, Mental Development and Wisdom.
